Hi, I'm Dima Tretyak, a full-stack developer with more than 15 years of experience. I built Word of the Day & Vocabulary because I needed it myself: I was learning English and wanted a simple way to pick up new words every day. The app gives you one word a day with a definition, an example and pronunciation, plus quizzes and a swipe game to check what stuck.
What to write about
- A bug in the iOS app. Tell me your iPhone model, iOS version and what you tapped before it went wrong.
- A definition, example or pronunciation on this site that looks wrong. Include the link to the word page.
- A word you'd like to see added, or a topic the dictionary is missing.
- Questions about your data. What the site and app collect is described in the privacy policy.
